The Father Joseph Plummer Council was founded in 1990 through the efforts of
Dave Gaska - Charter Grand Knight. Father Joseph Plummer was an Associate
Pastor at Christ the Good Shepherd from 1983 - 1987. The Father Joseph
Plummer Council works closely with Christ the Good Shepherd Parish providing
funds for various projects. Its members are also actively involved in numerous
parish and community activities. The council contributes thousands of dollars each
year to various charitable causes including St. Mary's Seminary in Houston, the
American Heart Association, and the Multiple Sclerosis Society, If you would like to
